How Do You Measure Hope?

Posted on

In our child sponsorship program we measure a lot of things to evaluate how lives are being changed. We measure the effectiveness of our educational programs with tests and examinations. We measure the health of our children through various checkups and evaluations. But one of the most significant outcomes of our program is tough to measure. That outcome is hope. How do you measure hope?

One way to get a feel for how much hope a child has is to ask them what they want to do when they grow up. Recently we asked that question at one of our schools. The answers to that simple question told the story, again and again, of children who have hope.

The Partner Parent program through Bibles For The World has been giving kids hope for a brighter future since 1966. Become a Partner Parent today and give the gift of hope to a child in NE India.
