Tuisen is a village located on the border of Pherzawl district of Manipur. It is a valley surrounded by rivers on all sides. The village has around 800 people and Hmar tribe occupies the largest population with around 600 people. Christians are in majority but the surrounding villages are mostly Hindus and Muslims. The people in the village are mostly cultivators and agricultural laborers while some engage in small time fishery and livestock pursuits. BFTW is helping run the school in the village which is currently set up till 6^th grade with 107 students enrolled.
